MEET LULU AND COMPANY
Talk about a lovely place to visit! Lulu’s Villa and gardens are beautiful and relaxing.
Lulu…which is Dar Jenkins’ nickname, has a magic about her that will make you feel very welcome, just like you are part of the family. Gardening is Lulu’s passion, which is quite obvious when you visit Lulu’s Villa. When Lulu is not working on her gardens, you might see her cycling in the back country roads of Oregon and occasionally in a race!
Lulu loves to hike, fish and spend time in the great outdoors. She recently tried her hand at kayaking. Stay tuned for more adventures with Lulu…
Lulu is the mother of two married sons , and the Oma of a granddaughter.
Eleven years old, Miss Molly is a black Lab/Border Collie mix. She has been with Lulu since she was a tiny pup who greets you with a happy attitude. Even though she has reached her sunset years, she still loves a good game of fetch and is always interested in what is going on around her. Molly is Lulu’s companion enjoying Oregon’s great outdoors!
Emma is an eight year old calico, who was found abandoned as a kitten. Lulu welcomed her to Lulu’s Villa.
Emma is happy to call Lulu’s Villa home and loves to take cat naps in the sun and prowl in the gardens.
Meet Sunshine, Callie, and Willow…
Sunshine is the queen of the koi pond, where she has resided in watery bliss for a number of years. You will easily recognize her—she is the largest pond resident and pleasantly plump. Callie, a calico koi, and Willow, a white koi with black spots, round out the pond crew. They love to laze under the lily pads where it is nice and shady. And then there are the frogs…
Some people are not quite sure what to think of a bed and breakfast. Either they have preconceived ideas of the type of service they might get or who is running the place, or be unclear on how a bed and breakfast works!
The truth of the matter is, staying at a bed and breakfast is different from staying in a hotel or motel or resort, and there are great reasons why staying at a bed and breakfast is an exclusive experience you never recognized you were missing.
How often have you wished your hotel or resort would not charge for basic services, like at least offering free Wi-Fi and parking? Really, even Starbucks offers it.
Stay at Lulu’s Villa, and, not only will you have free Wi-Fi, but plenty of free parking and expert knowledge of the area, too. Lulu is a seasoned local, with a wealth of knowledge about the locale. She is happy to suggest the best wineries, bike trails, restaurants and things to do.
“So Happy for you Dar! If I was still there, you know I would be working for you! God Bless you on this Great Adventure! Love ya!” Dee Dee – PA
